Nice! I woke up this morning and I found a package from Amazon waiting for me at the door. I ordered ⌈Lucky Star Vol. 3⌋ and ⌈Hidamari Sketch Vol. 4⌋ a few days ago. I usually buy my manga online because the local anime stores never seem to carry the complete selection of my favorite manga.

Actually, I was about to drop ⌈Lucky Star⌋ after reading Vol. 1 and 2 because it’s not as funny as I expected. The anime was much better. I’m not sure whether it’s because of the translation or whether the manga just wasn’t as good as the anime even in the original Japanese language. However, ⌈Lucky Star⌋ is one of my favorite anime, so I ordered Vol. 3 anyways.

BTW, if you haven’t read ⌈Hidamari Sketch⌋, I highly recommend it. It’s really cute and funny. It’s similar to ⌈Lucky Star⌋ because ⌈Hidamari Sketch⌋ is also a 4-koma manga about 4 schoolgirls, but I find ⌈Hidamari Sketch⌋ to be less random than ⌈Lucky Star⌋. Or maybe I’m just biased because I love Yunocchi.
